Position: Jr. Front End Developer 

Location: DFW area, Texas


Primary Purpose and Functions:

We seek a junior front end developer who can get up to speed quickly and provide solid contributions as we continue to add functionality to existing products and develop new ones. Our current focus is a complete refresh of our core product to convert it into a Vue.js-based SPA. In this role you must relish the opportunity to learn new technologies, improve your coding expertise, and help the team reach its goals. You will write clean, test-driven, and easily maintainable code. We encourage people of all backgrounds to apply. Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Regularly and steadily completes tasks, primarily focused on front end development
  • Speaking up in all development meetings with relevant ideas and suggestions
  • Maintaining and continuing to develop knowledge of relevant technologies

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Value teamwork, be customer-centric, and understand and get excited about doing what it takes to succeed at a fast-paced software company.
  • 1-3 years of experience developing software.
  • Experience with Javascript, Typescript, Vue.js and/or similar technologies.
  • Experience working with APIs and developing single page applications.
  • Experience with test-driven development.
  • Well-versed in modern best practices.
  • Experience with Agile methodology.
  • Good communicator.

Not Required but Nice To Have:

  • PHP Experience
  • MySQL Experience
  • Python Experience
  • Accessibility / A11Y Design Experience
